Every year, visitors make a special trip to Singapore to enjoy the Christmas festivities and the most spectacular light-up in the world on our renowned shopping belt Orchard Road. Be enthralled by a magical composition of light and sparkling ornaments as you stroll down the busy shopping belt, packed with festive fare, various Christmas-themed activities and merry revellers. The facade of shopping malls and hotels will also be dressed in their festive finest, whilst inside the shopping malls, the cheerful voices of carollers will bring the festive mood to an all time high. Now in its 22nd year; the Singapore Christmas Light-Up is arguably the grandest and most spectacular light-up in the world. Firmly established now as a yearend tradition, both visitors and locals alike have come to look forward to this annual visual spectacle. Besides the light-up, the whole city is in a celebratory mood with concerts, events, parades and of course, Christmas and New Year parties
