Singapore glams up as one of the world's fashion capitals, with Asia's biggest and most glamorous consumer fashion extravaganza - the Singapore Fashion Festival 2005. While European fashion festivals tend to centre on the trade, the Singapore Fashion Festival is geared towards consumers. And rightly so, since Singaporeans love fashion - our stores are at the cutting-edge of international trends and local designers have carved a niche for themselves here and abroad. Singapore's fifth fashion gala, is said to be the largest fashion shopping festival in the Asia-Pacific region. The 10-day affair will feature more than 70 events including world-class fashion shows in the tent outside Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza as well as exhibitions, fashion parties and designer salon shows.
Across the city, fashion events have been planned at department stores, shopping strips, boutiques, bars, clubs and galleries.

The Singapore Fashion Festival will feature haute couture unveilings and designer shows showcasing their newest collections, from luxury big names, such as Roberto Cavalli, Kenzo and Chloe, to international streetwear brands like FCUK, Top Shop and FOX. With close to 50 collection shows and many other satellite events, you can look forward to an eye-opening preview to the season's latest and trendiest styles.
