On every 15th day of the 8th lunar month, families get together to feast and rejoice under the full moon to celebrate this ancient Chinese festival. It is a fun night out for everyone as children prance about in parks with their colourful lanterns. Be captivated by the folklore that tells of how the Chinese had ingenuously sent secret messages hidden in mooncakes to overthrow the tyrannical Yuan dynasty in the 14th century.

The month-long festivities in Singapore will feature a wide range of events usually spread across three key venues.
