Pre Parade Segment

Early-birds to NDP 2005 will be treated to fun and entertainment before the start of NDP at 5:15 pm. The Pre-Parade segment promises to create a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere leading up to the main show. Home viewers can join in the fun, with ‘live’ telecast from 5.30pm this year on Channel 5, 8, U, Central, Suria and CNA.

Traditional crowd pullers, such as the military free fall, and some great new ideas, coupled with vibrant displays of colours and sounds will be used to engage the audience during this 60-minute preamble. As in previous years, celebrity emcees and crowd motivators will play a key role in whipping up the festive mood and stringing the multi-faceted items into a common theme.

In keeping with tradition, this year's Pre-Parade Segment will be an integral, engaging and entertaining segment of NDP 2005. The Pre-Parade Segment will create an energetic and celebrative mood.
