How long does it take to get from any point in Singapore to Orchard Road?	Singapore has a very efficient and extensive public transportation network. Most places are within an hour's bus or MRT ride from Orchard Road. (Try to avoid the morning and evening peak hours on weekdays though!) Travel times are shorter by car or taxi. What is the best way of getting around?	The best way to explore Singapore is through The Visitor's Card which gives you access to islandwide transportation on buses and the MRT, and savings at shopping malls, restaurants, attractions, even hotels and resorts. Tickets are available at any TransitLink Ticket Sales Office located in most MRT Stations and bus interchanges up to seven days in advance, and at Tourist Travel Card Booths at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 (booth 6) and Terminal 2 (booth 11).
